Jamshedpur Football Club is an Indian professional football club based in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. The club has competed as a member of Indian Super League under licence from All India Football Federation (AIFF). The club is owned by Tata Steel, a subsidiary of the Tata Group.
The club was established on 12 June 2017, when Tata Steel won the bidding rights for one of two expansion spots in the Indian Super League. Jamshedpur FC is the first club in the Indian Super League to have its own Stadium and facilities. They used graduate from Tata Football Academy (TFA) founded by Tata Group in 1987. Their home stadium is JRD Tata Sports Complex.
