About Hannes Soomer

Hannes Soomer (often spelled "Sommer" in various race reports) is a professional motorcycle racer from Estonia who currently competes in premier superbike championships, including the IDM Superbike series and WorldSBK (Superbike World Championship).
He began his international career in the ADAC Junior Cup back in 2011. Over the years, he advanced through the Supersport classes to reach top-tier superbike racing.
He is competing for the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team. He was brought into the squad for the Aragon Round to help fill in for injured team rider Danilo Petrucci.
