About Jiho Yang

Yang Ji-ho is a South Korean professional golfer who made sports history by winning the prestigious KOLON Korea Open. Born on 14 January 1989, he turned professional in 2008 and primarily competes on the KPGA Tour and Asian Tour.
2026 Korea Open Victory: Yang pulled off an extraordinary wire-to-wire upset victory at Woo Jeong Hills Country Club. He became the first pre-qualifier ever to win the tournament in its 68-year history. Despite a difficult final-round 76, his massive seven-stroke cushion helped him secure a four-shot victory over Sweden's Charlie Lindh.
