Nick Fernandez is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defensive midfielder for the San Jose Earthquakes in Major League Soccer (MLS). He wears the number 20 shirt. Born on 22 December 2001 in Downers Grove, Illinois, the 24-year-old was drafted 32nd overall in the second round of the 2025 MLS SuperDraft out of the University of Portland. He signed a multi-year contract with San Jose in early 2025.
