About Hugh Freeze

Hugh Freeze is an American football coach currently serving as the head coach at Auburn University, known for his offensive acumen and ability to quickly turn around struggling programs. He first gained national attention at Ole Miss, where his teams achieved notable success on the field, including back-to-back wins over Alabama and multiple bowl appearances. After a stint away from the SEC, he rebuilt his reputation at Liberty University, leading the Flames to several winning seasons and bowl victories. Hired by Auburn in 2022, Freeze was brought in to stabilize and elevate a program seeking consistency in the highly competitive SEC West.
