About Tomas Rossi

Tomás Daniel Rossi (born 18 April 1999 in San Francisco) is an Argentine footballer who plays as a defender for Godoy Cruz.

Career
Raised in the youth sector of Sp. Belgrano (SF), he made his debut in the first team (and in general among professionals) on 17 January 2019 in the Copa Argentina match lost 2-1 against Racing (C); In the same year, he also played 7 games in the Argentine Third Division, in which he then played a further 21 games in 2021. In January 2022 he was loaned to Gimnasia (CdU), another third division club, where he spent a season as a starter and also found the first goal of his career, on 12 May against the team holding his card. Back at Belgrano, he signed a contract renewal remaining in the squad for the whole of 2023, a year in which he played a further 15 games in the third division, before going on loan to Nueva Chicago (second division club) in January 2024; with the neroverdi he played 40 matches, 39 of which from the first minute, leading the club to exercise the option to buy outright.

On 3 January 2025 he was signed by Godoy Cruz, a first division club, and on 28 January 2025 he made his debut in the Primera División in a 0–0 draw against Sarmiento (J)} During the season he also made his debut in the continental competitions of CONMEBOL, taking part in the Copa Sudamericana.
