About Precious Ugwu

Precious Joel Uche-Chukwu Ugwu (born 8 February 2006) is a Dutch-German footballer who plays as a central defender for Eredivisie club FC Volendam. He exchanged Ajax for FC Volendam in 2025.

Club career
Ugwu made his debut for the Ajax Reserves in the First Division against Telstar on February 26, 2024. He came in for Olaf Gorter after 83 minutes. On July 28, 2023, he signed a first professional contract. On February 24, 2025, he scored his first goal for the team against SC Cambuur. On November 24, 2024, Ugwu was in the Ajax 1 selection for the first time. He did not come into action.

In mid-2025, Ugwu made the switch to FC Volendam, which had just been promoted to the Eredivisie. He signed a contract until the summer of 2028.
