About Eric Murray

Eric Murray (born January 7, 1994) is an American professional football safety for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Minnesota, and was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL draft.

On April 1, 2020, Murray signed a three-year, $20.25 million contract with the Houston Texans. On March 16, 2022, Murray signed a two-year, $10 million contract extension with the Texans. On October 18, 2023, Murray was placed on injured reserve. On March 12, 2024, Murray signed a one-year contract extension with the Texans.
