About Francisco Comesaña

Francisco Comesaña (born 6 October 2000) is an Argentine professional tennis player. He has a career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 67, achieved on 24 February 2025 and a doubles ranking of No. 257, achieved on 8 May 2023.

Early life
Francisco Comesaña was born in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, to father Agustín and mother Adela. As his surname suggests, his family is of Galician descent. He has one sister, Morena. He began playing tennis around the age of six.

He began his career training at Edison Lawn Tennis in Mar de Plata, which is owned by the family of Horacio Zeballos. In 2021, he moved to Córdoba to train under coach Facundo Argüello. In 2023, he moved back to Buenos Aires to train under coach Sebastián Gutiérrez at the Club de Gimnasia y Esgrima de Buenos Aires.
