About Andy Irving

Andrew Irving (born 13 May 2000) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Czech First League club Sparta Prague and the Scotland national team.

Irving grew up in Edinburgh and attended Portobello High School.

Irving has represented Scotland at the under-17, under-19 and under-21 levels.

Irving was sold to West Ham United on transfer deadline day in September 2023, then immediately loaned back to Austria Klagenfurt. Despite neither club confirming the transfer at the time, Austria Klagenfurt managing director Günther Gorenzel confirmed the transfer in December 2023.
