About David Villar

David Alexander Villar (born January 27, 1997) is an American professional baseball third baseman for the Syracuse Mets. He played college baseball at the University of South Florida. He was drafted by the Giants in the 11th round of the 2018 Major League Baseball draft, and made his MLB debut with them in July 2022. He was awarded the 2022 Pacific Coast League Most Valuable Player Award.
