About Javonte Williams

Javonte Williams (born April 25, 2000) is an American professional football running back for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the North Carolina Tar Heels and was selected by the Denver Broncos in the second round of the 2021 NFL draft.

Early life
Williams attended Wallace-Rose Hill High School in Teachey, North Carolina. As a senior, he rushed for 2,271 rushing yards and 27 touchdowns. He committed to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, his only Football Bowl Subdivision offer. He graduated as his school’s valedictorian.
