About Jay Jackson

Randy "Jay" Jackson (born October 27, 1987) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Minnesota Twins of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the San Diego Padres, Milwaukee Brewers, San Francisco Giants, Atlanta Braves, and Toronto Blue Jays. He has also played in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp and Chiba Lotte Marines.

On Jube 23, 2024 he cleared waivers and was outrighted to St. Paul. He did not pitch for St. Paul after June 23, and was released by the Twins organization on July 25.
