About Chanathip Songkrasin

Chanathip Songkrasin (Thai: ชนาธิป สรงกระสินธ์, pronounced ; born 5 October 1993), is a Thai professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Thai League 1 club BG Pathum United.

Chanathip is known to be one of the best footballers in the Southeast Asia continent. His style of play as a diminutive, left-footed dribbler drew career-long comparisons with Lionel Messi where he is known as the 'Asian Messi'.
