About Pacifique Niyongabire

Pacifique Niyongabire (born 15 March 2000) is a Burundian professional footballer who plays as a winger for the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the USL Championship and the Burundi national football team.

After impressing head coach Marco Kurz while playing for Adelaide United Youth in the Y-League, Niyongabire made his professional debut in a Round 16 clash against Sydney FC, replacing Mark Ochieng in the 80th minute in a 0–0 draw. On 6 March 2018, he signed a 2+1⁄2-year scholarship contract with the club. In June 2021, he was released by Adelaide United after making 24 appearances.
