About Filip Salac

Born in 2001, Czech rider Filip Salac debuted in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup in 2016 and built momentum throughout three years in the series, coming home fourth overall in 2018 after some impressive podiums. Also racing in the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junior World Championship, he scored a point there in 2016 before again showing solid progress despite some injury struggles in 2017 after breaking his leg mid-season. In 2018 he came 11th overall in the CEV and also made his Grand Prix debut as a wildcard in his home race at Brno with Redox Pruestel GP and he moves up full time with the same team in 2019.
