Matt Ginn (born 17 February 1991 ) is a former ice hockey goalminder.
Matt Ginn arrived in Manchester as a rookie to the EIHL and European hockey. But has 4 years of professional hockey under his belt, spending the majority of his pro career backstopping the Atalanta Gladiators in the ECHL.
Before turning professional Matt studied and played for the College of the Holy Cross, Worcester Massachusetts. Whilst icing for the “Holy Cross Crusaders” a NCAA division 1 college program, Matt racked up college record after college record; 3587 career saves, 8 shut outs, 7760 playing minutes and registered over 1000 saves in the 2013/14 season alone.
An aggressive goalie, Matt likes to challenge the shooter, is positionally sound and comfortable handing the puck.
