About Austin Meadows

Austin Wade Meadows (born May 3, 1995) is an American professional baseball outfielder who is a free agent. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Tampa Bay Rays and Detroit Tigers.
Meadows was considered as one of the top prospects eligible for the 2013 Major League Baseball draft.He was ultimately selected in the first round, with the ninth overall selection, by the Pittsburgh Pirates. Meadows was committed to attend Clemson University to play college baseball for the Clemson Tigers, but chose to forgo that commitment by signing with the Pirates, receiving a $3,029,600 signing bonus three weeks after the draft.
Meadows made his MLB debut May 18, 2018, for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
