About Andrew Heaney

Andrew Mark Heaney (born June 5, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Miami Marlins, Los Angeles Angels, New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Texas Rangers. Prior to becoming a professional, he played college baseball for the Oklahoma State Cowboys. The Miami Marlins drafted Heaney in the first round (9th overall) of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft. He made his MLB debut in 2014. He previously played for the Marlins.
