About Matthew Puempel

Matthew Puempel (born January 24, 1993) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player currently playing for the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League (NHL). Puempel was selected 24th overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft by the Ottawa Senators.
