About Devante Smith-Pelly

Devante Malik Smith-Pelly (born June 14, 1992) is a Canadian professional ice hockey winger currently playing for the Hershey Bears in the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the Anaheim Ducks in the second round, 42nd overall, of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Smith-Pelly plays in the style of a power forward and is known for his hitting, forechecking abilities. Smith-Pelly is a Stanley Cup champion, having won the 2018 Stanley Cup Finals with the Washington Capitals.
