About Marc Methot

Marc Philippe Methot (born June 21, 1985) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who is currently an unrestricted free agent. He most recently played for the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously played in the NHL with the Ottawa Senators and Columbus Blue Jackets, who drafted him 168th overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
Methot is commonly described as a stay-at-home defenceman with veteran leadership ability and great size for the NHL game.
