About James Tomkins

James Oliver Charles Tomkins (born 29 March 1989) is an English professional footballer who last played as a centre-back for Premier League club Crystal Palace.
He has represented England at all levels up to the under-21 team and represented Great Britain at the 2012 London Olympics. He primarily plays as a centre back, but can also play at right back or defensive midfield. He is a product of the West Ham youth academy.
